Working along side the 'Centre for the Advancement of Science in Space' (CASIS) allowed Cobra Golf to produce their longest and straightest driver, with the use of the most unique innovations. A 16g Spaceport is featured in the sole of the driver head that helps achieve a precise CG location and increased MOI. The SpacePort is held in place with a Spiralock thread, that is able to withstand heavy loads and intense vibrations throughout impact. This lock also keeps the SpacePort secured within the head, limiting movement in the chassis. The Spiralock also helps Cobra achieve that pinpoint CG location, as it allows them to remove any internal structures that is usually required when installing weights. This consequently makes the driver much lighter to help achieve greater clubhead speeds.

A link to space was also required to produce the first ever Zero CG location within a driver. With most drivers featuring a CG location above the neutral axis line., the King LTD has a CG location directly on the neutral axis line, giving the LTD a more explosive energy transfer without jeopardising forgiveness.

The speed channel and E9 technology continues in the King LTD range, as it offers greater ball speeds and compliments a new variable Forged 8-1-1 Titanium face. Also carrying over from previous models is the smart pad and MyFly technology that allows the golfer to alter loft and shot shape bias without effecting club face position.
