The Cleveland HiBore XL Lite Driver is the yang to the standard HiBore XL's yin. It complements its partner by offering an ultralight option with a slight draw bias for amateur golfers looking to kerb their slicing tendencies and increase their clubhead speed for better launch and distance. In the Lite model, MainFrame XL optimises a balance of draw bias and max forgiveness while still maintaining MOI and ball speed benefits that can often be lost by concentrating weight in the heel. To do this, R&D used yet another computer simulation to help design a draw-biassed internal weighting structure within HiBore XL Lite that sacrifices less ball speed and MOI.

    To make this our most forgiving driver ever, we added an extra-large face. But a face this big adds head volume, so we tapered the sides. And by keeping the rear weight low and deep, our iconic triangle was born. LARGER FACE
    So why the larger face? Featuring 19% more face surface area than our previous driver, the HiBore XL offers approximately 17 more yards of distance on extreme off-centre strikes* and up to 24% fewer partially missed shots**.
