Not only has the MG2 undergone its precise milling process, but it also features multiple technological benefits making this TaylorMade Golf’s most innovative wedge to date, which includes a specialised club face called Raw Face Design that will rust over time to optimise spin and feel of the wedge.
Also improving the spin on the Milled Grind 2 wedge is a Laser Etched Pattern, situated between the grooves and gives the club face a much rougher texture for greater greenside control.
The TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 Wedge is fitted by sole design, allowing golfers to play recovery shots from any situation or conditions that are often faced out on the golf course. With the option of Standard Bounce or Low Bounce, golfers have the ability to select a specific sole shape to improve their chances of recovery around the greens.
The MG2 Standard Bounce option is an all-purpose grind and is ideal for the golfer that likes the manipulate the clubface position to play an array of golf shots. The SB bounce works effectively with a neutral to steep attack angle and medium/soft conditions.
The MG2 Low Bounce includes a narrow crescent shape on the sole of the wedge, allowing for ultimate greenside versatility. The LB sole grind works best for golfers with a neutral/shallow angle of attack and course conditions that are medium too hard.
